How to make the perfect cold pressed coffee at home

On a hot day like today, I always crave an iced coffee. Always going to Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks can add up each week.  How about you make it yourself at home and keeping it in the fridge for whenever you crave it? I think it’s a great idea!

Here is how to make yourself a cold brewed coffee right at home.

Ingredients:

*1 cup of ground coffee

*4 cups of filtered water

*milk of your choice

*sweetened condensed milk

*cheese cloth

*mesh strainer

*Large pitcher and bowl

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Place the ground coffee and water into a large bowl

2. Stir the coffee and water enough to make sure the grounds are submerged and cover with plastic wrap and let it sit overnight.

3. Place a mesh strainer first then the cheese cloth on top of your pitcher.

4. Scoop the coffee/water mixture with a cup and pour slowly taking your time to allow the mixture to strain through ( you will need a spoon to occasionally scoop out the excess grounds that are stuck on the top)

5. Refrigerate your coffee

When you’re ready to make a delicious cup of cold coffee, here’s what you do:

** Pour your coffee into a cup of your choice filled with ice. ( I used a mason jar)

** Add a splash milk of your choice and then add a good splash of sweetened condensed milk
