Here is a yummy and creative Valentine’s treat.
I was going to make little hearts but I decided on making them into butterflies instead.
Here is what you need:
1 bag of Glutino Pretzel twists
1 bag of white candy melts
red very fine sugar sprinkles
1 large storage zip loc bag
1 large baking sheet
All you have to do is melt about 2 cups of candy melts in the microwave in a heat proof glass bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds at half power or on defrost setting. Stir. Wafers will not change shape while melting unless stirred. Repeat until wafers are completely melted.
Place the zip loc bag in a tall glass and fill the bag with the melted chocolate.
Place 2 pretzel twists making the shape of the wings on a large baking sheet covered in wax paper and repeat until you make as many butterfly wings as you wish.
Snip a tiny bit of the end of the bag with melted chocolate.
Now pipe the chocolate to make the body and then fill the “wings” making it look like 2 hearts, then sprinkle the wings with the red sugar.
Happy Valentine’s Day! XOXO
